inverter connection?
YAMAHA have advised me rather than buy generator i can use inverter connected to 12v battery to power my keyboard outdoors how do i connect inverter to battery bare wires anyone advise please also i probably need 2 batteries as i would only get about one hours power from one?
Most inverters come with clips to attach to the battery posts. If yours does not go to radio shack or maybe auto parts store and get som. One wire will be marked positive either as a red wire or with a marking on the inverter. Connect the pos. to the + side of battery and neg. to the -. You should get much more than an hour from even a small car battery, like 3-8 hrs.
