When do you use a portable generator? In which situations?
Hi! I would like to know when do you use a generator. When do you need one. And also, who normally uses one. (I mean those portable generators by Subaru, Valsi, Powermate, B&S, Honda... any brand) Please consider this as a survey. I really need many answers. Thanks!!
Anytime I need 110 and 220 volts AC and there's no commercial power around. Construction sites where there's no temporary power feed yet, remote sites where there's no power at all, whenever it's simply too far to run an extension cord. I've worked at many sites where commercial power wasn't an option at the time.
