how to shrink a large file, ive been having problem uploading my video in you tube. it sizeis16.5 mb?
im trying to upload video in you tube but when it finished it said that the file was too large and need to shrink it, i tried to upload it again in the multiple video but once completed it didnt appear in my channel page or the video cannot be found. I know sometimes it wil ltake time, but i did upload it last night but up to now the video isnt there yet. any help will be highly appreciated.

(ANS) YES! this kind of task can be rather frustrating and complicated if you don't understand the technical inn's and out's.
No.1 You need to find out specifically how much space you have available for displaying video clips on your u-tube page (profile).
No.2 Specifically what format u-tube wants the files in, in order to display them correctly.
No.3 You can use a compression program such as Zip Genius or Winzip to physically compress the file/s size down. This will reduce the file size but probably wont fix this problem. Because you will end up with a Zip file not a video file format.
No.4 The actual answer is that the clip need to be no larger than a specific size before u-tube will accept the clip and play it. Its that simple really.
**Presently your clip file size is probably to large for the space allowance on u-tube and hence wont accept it anyway.
