Controlled high blood pressure and birth control?
I am on meds for high blood pressure (so it is controlled), and I have gone to the OBGYN for birth control. She suggested a progesterone only pill, or the shot. But I'm worried about my blood pressure going up. Anyone else with controlled high blood pressure on either of these meds? Thanks.
Better go with barrier methods (condoms, IUD, etc..).
The pill and shot will both raise your blood pressure.
