I have purchased a LCR meter,display count is specified 11000 counts what does it mean?
I want to know what will be the minimum and maximum value of the parameter that will be displayed on this 11000 count meter.
The counts is the number of measurements it takes per second. A digital meter, which yours must be, doesn't measure continuously. It takes a measurement and displays the results and takes another measurement. A faster count will enable the meter to get a better reading when it's measuring a changing level.
The accuracy of the meter is dependent on the quality of the internal voltage divider and the number of display digits. If you have a 4 digit meter and are measuring a voltage of 240 volts the accuracy is to within one tenth of a volt. If you measuring 6 volts you have 3 digits to the right of the decimal point and can measure down to one one-thousands of a volt.
